If you like
belts

Glue gun
Decorations
Sewing supplies
Step
1
Paint a light colored belt with fabric paint using a variety of colors. Paint stripes, polka dots or designs. Be creative and paint messages, hearts or
flowers
on the belt.
Step
2
Glue sequins, rhinestones and fake jewels to the belt to create a glamorous look. Lay the belt down flat when you decorate it and let the glue dry for several hours before wearing. Glue the rhinestones in one line down the middle of the belt or in two rows along the edges of the belt.
Step
3
Add a design of buttons to your belt using a variety of colors and sizes. You can glue them on or sew them to the belt using thread that matches the fabric. Use clear thread if you want the buttons sit on the belt without looking sewn.
Step
4
Sew ribbons or bows on the belt. Attach three suede strips to the back of the belt. Bring them to the front of the belt on each side and tie or braid the strips.
Step
5
Crochet a pattern around a regular belt so that it covers the belt. Add a fancy belt buckle to the belt. You can paint the buckle or glue fabric to it.
Step
6
Buy a snapping tool from a craft or fabric store and add decorative buttons and snaps to your belt.
Tips & Warnings
Use waterproof adhesives and paint so that you can wash the belt if it becomes dirty.
